Why Didn’t I Use Car Transport?

When I moved to Spain for some reason I never even considered the use of car transport.

It seems completely logical now but at the time I was so excited about the idea of going to work in short sleeved shirts and without an umbrella that my car was the last thing on my mind.

I have never been a huge car fan anyway but my old Hyundai had given me a good few years’ worth of service and if I had taken it across with one of the modern car transport options it would no doubt have given me a lot more use.

Even Old Bangers Cost a Bit Sometimes

Instead of this I sold it cheaply to a friend and ended up without a car in my new home. It turned out that because I had moved to an island the second hand car market was pretty limited and even old bangers came with a reasonably hefty price tag. Most of the other ex-pats seemed to have known about that in advance and they had already used the car transport idea to bring across their British cars with them.

The only good thing to come out if was that I got myself into good shape by walking to work and back each day. I got quite a decent tan too, although I wouldn’t have minded the comfort of my old car at times.
